Quick Question June 2024 Result: How many languages do you speak?
872 people answered the FTD Disorders Registry’s June Quick Question which asked how many languages do you speak.
688 respondents reported that they only speak one language. 135 respondents reported speaking two languages. 48 respondents reported speaking three or more languages.
Demographics
Of the 688 respondents, 527 were female and 329 were male.
Across all categories, females represent majority of the respondents.
Of the 872 people who responded to our Quick Question, 281 were spouses answering on behalf of an FTD-diagnosed person. 190 of those spouses were female and 91 were male.
We also had 160 respondents who reported being biological family members answering for themselves. 128 of these biological family members were female and 32 were male.
139 respondents were individuals diagnosed with an FTD disorder answering for themselves.
Answers to the June Quick Question came from 24 different countries. The vast majority of respondents were from the United States with 773 individuals answering the question, followed by 51 Canadians.
The FTD Disorders Registry’s monthly Quick Question provides invaluable insights into the lived experience of those with a connection to FTD. By participating, individuals contribute to a deeper understanding of FTD, helping to drive research and fostering advancements in treatment and support.
