"CARING FOR SOMEONE WITH FRONTOTEMPORAL DEGENERATION"
AFTD Program Manager Matthew Sharp and AFTD Education Program Manager Deena Chisholm along with gerontologist and caregiver advocate Lakelyn Hogan will discuss FTD and caring for persons with the disease during “Caring for Someone with Frontotemporal Degeneration.”
This webinar, presented by Home Instead Senior Care, will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on March 19, 2020.

"CORTICOBASAL SYNDROME & CORTICOBASAL DEGENERATION: BASICS & WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW"
Melissa Armstrong, M.D., M.Sc., associate professor of neurology at the University of Florida, Gainesville, will provide an in-depth look at corticobasal syndrome (CBS) and corticobasal degeneration (CBD) from 4 until 5:30 p.m. on March 19, 2020.
In the webinar, Dr. Armstrong will discuss:
- the vocabulary used in this disease
- the difference between syndrome and degeneration
- how a diagnosis is made
- common symptoms
- expected progression
- treatment approaches
