The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) will hold its 2023 Education Conference on Friday, May 5, 2023.

The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) will hold its 2023 Education Conference on Friday, May 5, 2023. This will be a hybrid event with in-person attendance at the Marriott St. Louis Grand in St. Louis, Missouri. Sessions are scheduled for between 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Central Time.

If you cannot go to St. Louis, you can live stream the conference online. Whether you attend virtually or in person, there is no cost to attend. AFTD Comstock Travel Grants are available to help reduce travel-related expenses for persons with FTD and their care partners.

The conference will offer the latest information on frontotemporal degeneration (FTD) and practical strategies to assist on your FTD journey. Hear the latest in research and care, learn about resources, engage with researchers, and connect with others on the FTD journey.

SPEAKERS

Keynote Speaker will be Bruce Miller, M.D., one of the world’s foremost experts on FTD. He will talk about advancements and current challenges in the fields of FTD care and research throughout his career. He also will share reasons for hope as FTD awareness is growing and an increasingly global research community is moving forward on promising clinical trials that, with participation from FTD families, could lead to effective treatments for FTD.
